Representatives will be providing training on Narcan administration, and will have kits available for distribution.

'Shed the Meds' Program

Deputies from the Sheriff's Community Outreach Program will be present to collect unused prescription drug medication in support of their prescription drug take-back program, 'Shed the Meds'. For a safe way to properly dispose of unused prescription medication, to protect the environment, and to ensure old prescriptions don't end up in the wrong hands, please bring in any unused prescription drugs to hand in.

Port Jeff Volunteer Ambulance

The Port Jefferson Volunteer Ambulance Corps responds to technical rescue as well as provides first response life safety to biological, chemical and radioactive hazards throughout the Port Jefferson, Belle Terre, Mt. Sinai and Miller Place communities. We appreciate their commitment to education and outreach as it pertains to the community’s safety and wellness.

Introducing the First Annual 5K Run/Walk to End Addiction at Shorefront Park in Patchogue, on Saturday, May 20th.
